I also had to pay extra per month if I wanted to leave the company before the 12-month contract was up and not get slapped with a $249 termination fee. Ouch! How come all companies treat returning customers like this? Very disappointed as I initially loved the rate and the customer service. There must be a better way to treat long-term customers,” said Beth K.
“I have used Southern Federal Power at two of my properties for years. They turned off the power, claiming we had moved out. Called to figure out what was going on. We were told that the problem was being fixed, but we wouldn’t have power for a couple of days due to the holiday. We called CenterPoint, and we’re told the power would be automatically turned on as soon as the request was put in from our energy provider because we have a smart meter. So here we are without power until Southern Federal decides to do their job,” said Ashley K.
