Power Wizard operates as an energy plan comparison site in which customers can pay a set membership fee to access the company’s electricity plan recommendations.
The company offers two types of memberships, one in which Power Wizard will handle customer enrollments for recommended energy plans and the other in which the customer enrolls themselves.
Instead of paying for energy-price comparison, we can help you easily compare plans from top electricity providers in Texas, all free of charge. At Home Energy Club, we use our TrustPlan process to offer vetted energy plans which cut bill surprises.
We also use our bargaining power with select energy companies to offer special discounted electricity rates. Plus, we never charge membership fees, so you get special low rates and our trusted service for free.

How Does Power Wizard Work?
Power wizard uses algorithms to compare energy plans for each customer. However, customers must pay a membership fee to utilize their plan comparison.
There are two membership levels available to customers. The first is a one-time access membership in which customers can use Power Wizard’s plan comparison tool once and access their recommended plans for 60 days.
The second membership is a monthly fee that gives customers access to Power Wizard’s comparison tool, and the company enrolls customers in whichever energy plan they deem to be the “best” using their algorithm.
This could be a good option for people who don’t have time to shop for energy plans and are willing to pay for membership. Instead, you could use Home Energy Club’s free Electricity Shoppers Guide to get quick help finding the best energy plan for your usage needs.
Or, you may enter your zip code below to instantly see the lowest electricity rates for your area. Remember, Home Energy Club never charges a membership fee, so you can easily compare cheap gimmick-free electricity plans at no extra cost.
Relocating, Changing Plans, and Cancellation Charges
If you’re moving to a new home, you’ll need to find an energy plan that fits the size and energy consumption of the residence.
Finding a trusted electricity company with the best energy rates can be confusing, but you can cut through the clutter with the EFL. Use our guide to the Texas Electricity Facts Label (EFL) to learn how to choose the best energy plan for your home’s usage.
If you wish to transfer your energy plan to your new home, you may provide the company with a form containing your new address, and you can take your energy services with you. Make sure to submit your request at least 30 days in advance so they have time to process the updated information.
