Flagship Power Plan Types and Guarantees

Whether you’ve been transferred or are considering enrollment with AE Texas or Atlantex Power, you can expect the following energy plan types:

  • Fixed-rate plans: This plan type locks in your rate for the length of the contract, including up to 36-month options. Your rate remains steady without hidden fees, minimum usage requirements or gimmicks.
  • Renewable energy plans: These plans offer the security and stability of a fixed rate plan and are fueled by 100% green energy through renewable energy certificates (RECs).

Best Flagship Power Alternatives in Texas

Texans who want plan options other than fixed-rate or green energy plans can explore providers offering more flexibility and features. Top-rated companies like Reliant Energy, Green Mountain Energy and TXU Energy offer a wide variety of plan types, including free nights, solar buyback plans and smart home perks.

These companies earned a 4.9 out of 5 overall in our 2025 provider reviews, receiving high scores for customer service, satisfaction and retention. While we don’t have enough data to score AE Texas and Atlantex Power at this time, you can compare top providers to the average Texas energy provider ratings for each category below.

Where Is Flagship Power Available?

While you can no longer choose Flagship Power as your Texas energy provider, AE Texas and Atlantex Power serve most deregulated cities in Texas. You can expect to find the companies in the following transmission and distribution utility (TDU) service areas.

How To Choose an Energy Company

Shopping for a new Texas electricity plan starts with entering your ZIP code on this page. While Flagship Power electricity rates are no longer available, you’ll find other providers and plans in your area along with key details such as rates, contract lengths and renewable energy options. You can filter by the plan type, provider and other preferences to narrow down the best fit for your home.

Consider your typical energy habits when comparing plans and providers. Some companies offer simple fixed-rate plans without gimmicks, while others may provide free electricity at night. Look for plans based on what works best for your household.

Read the electricity facts label (EFL) before signing up with any provider and check online customer reviews. The EFL document breaks down your rate and can help you avoid billing surprises, and online reviews give insight into customer support and billing reliability.

Contacting Flagship Power

You can still reach Flagship Power if you have questions or need assistance.

  • Phone: 888-832-4081
  • Email: care@flagshippower.com

While Flagship can help with electricity plans or billing questions, your utility is responsible for the power lines and delivery. Contact your utility to report power outages or downed lines.

Moving or Transferring Energy Service in Texas

You’ll need to transfer your energy plan or switch providers if you move to a new address in Texas. If you previously had a plan with Flagship, you can check your address with your new provider (AE Texas or Antlantex Power) to make sure your current plan is still available at your new address.
Whether you’re a new resident or switching providers, you can start by entering your ZIP code on this page. Once you pick an energy plan, enter your service address and basic contact details. Many energy companies run a soft credit check to determine eligibility or deposit requirements, but the check won’t impact your credit score. After signing a contract, your new provider handles the switch.
