How do I cancel Southwest Power and Light service?

If you’re considering canceling your Southwest Power and Light service, you can contact customer service directly or terminate your plan online.

Note that if you’re canceling your service before your contract ends, you may face an ETF. You may not have to pay an ETF if you wait to cancel your service until the final 14 days of your contract or if you’re moving.

Transferring your service

To transfer your electricity plan, just notify SWPL and give them your new address. Be sure to notify them at least 30 days before your moving date for a smooth transition and to maintain continuous service.
