TexasConnect 12, 24 & 36
A straightforward, price-protected plan with fixed rates, their TexasConnect plans are available in 12, 24 and 36-month terms with cheap electricity rates.
This plan is designed to provide consistent and low-priced monthly bills.
It includes:
- Cheap fixed rates
- An Early Termination Fee (ETF)
- Transmission and Distribution Utility (TDU) fees
Time-of-Use plans
They offer multiple time-of-use plans designed to help you save money during off-peak hours. Those plans are Half-Price Nights, EVConnect plans and PoolConnect plans. By saving energy for use during certain times of the day, you can reduce your energy bill.
The Half-Price Nights plan is a price-protected offering for customers who want to augment when they use the most energy to reduce their monthly bills. Get half off electricity rates from 9 pm to 5:59 am.
The EVConnect plan provides half-off electricity rates from 9 pm to 4:59 am, helping customers save when topping off their EV’s battery pack.
Meanwhile, the PoolConnect plan provides low fixed rates with half off energy from 6 am to 1:59 pm.
All of their plans come with an Early Termination Fee.
- 12-month terms have an ETF of $150.
- 24 and 36-month terms have an ETF of $250.

OhmConnect Rewards Program
What makes OhmConnect unique is “OhmHours” and “AutoOhms,” demand response programs where customers get paid for using devices like smart plugs to save energy.
OhmHours and AutoOhms are time slots during which you’ll get notifications to reduce your energy consumption. Reduce your energy enough and you’ll earn “Watts,” which you can exchange for cash, gift cards, and prizes.

How does the OhmConnect smart plug work?
Part of their an energy savings program, the smart plug shuts off before high-demand time periods. When the period of high demand is over, the plug will turn back on. Transferring your electricity service
To transfer your OhmConnect plan to your new home, simply give them your new address and you can relocate your plan.
It’s a good idea to submit your transfer request 30 days in advance so they have time to process and transfer your service.
How to cancel OhmConnect?
You can cancel your OhmConnect service online or over the phone at any time.
If you cancel your plan before the end date on your contract, you may be responsible for an Early Termination Fee (ETF) ranging from $150 to $250.
