About StarTex Power (now Constellation Energy)
The StarTex Power brand of electricity was transitioned to the name of its parent brand, Constellation Energy, in 2018. Constellation Energy is a major electric company in commercial energy, but is not a well known brand in residential energy in Texas.
Constellation Energy is not known for having the best electricity rates in Texas, nor does it bill itself as an electric company offering the cheapest electricity plans. That said, Constellation is a credible light company with energy rates that are generally competitive with the rates of large Texas electric companies.
