Switching, Moving, and Cancellation Fees

You can cancel your current plan by calling TriEagle customer service at 866-701-0882. If you have a fixed-term contract, you should notify the company 30 days in advance. If you’re planning to terminate service before the end of your energy contract and not because you’re moving away from your current address, you will have to pay an Early Termination Fees (ETF) as described in each plan’s EFL.
Transferring Your Energy Plan
Moving to a new home is a hectic time, but if you already have a TriEagle Energy plan, you can easily have them transfer it to your new place. You don’t have to cancel your plan if you move, but you should contact the provider about the transfer at least a month in advance.
Report a Power Outage
Power lines and electrical infrastructure used to transfer the power you buy from TriEagle are regulated by Transmission and Delivery Service Providers (TDSPs), also referred to as Transmission and Distribution Utilities (TDUs). Retail electricity providers (REPs) don’t correct outages. So, when you have an outage, kindly contact your TDU to resolve the issue.

How can I cancel my TriEagle Energy electricity plan?
You may cancel your agreement by sending an authorization letter to the company at any time. Depending on the terms listed in the Electricity Facts Label associated with your plan, you may have to pay a cancellation fee if you are switching providers and plans.
However, if you are moving to another location, you should not have to pay an early termination fee. Check your plan’s Electricity Facts Label for the amount of their early cancellation fees.
