TriEagle Electricity Plans

TriEagle offers straightforward pricing on fixed-rate plans, and although some plans have bill credits available, those still have reasonably predictable monthly rates, regardless of usage. Their plan options feature:

Price-protected rates: All TriEagle plans have fixed-rate pricing, so your rate won’t change over the length of a 12, 24 or 36 month term.

Reliable pricing TriEagle has dependable pricing structures that will never produce a surprise on your monthly bill. You can be secure in choosing a TriEagle plan, knowing your rate will not fluctuate wildly based on your monthly usage.

Green options: TriEagle offers renewable energy plans, although you may pay a somewhat higher rate for choosing one of those offers.

Here’s a selection of plans:

Simple Savings

TriEagle’s most straightforward, no-gimmick plan, with a simple rate for all usage levels. Available for 12, 24 and 36 month terms.

Simple Green

The same dependable rate as the Simple Savings plans, but with 100% renewable sourced energy, also available for 1, 2 or 3 years.

Sure Saver

A bill credit plan that still offers rate stability. If you use 1000 kWh or more in a month, you get a $30 bill reduction. However, the base rate is still lower than a lot of bill credit plans from other providers, so you rate won’t inflate too much when your usage is lower.

Savvy Saver

Just like the Sure Saver plan, this offer has a reasonable base rate for a bill credit option, with the $30 reduction applied when your usage is at least 2000 kWh. This is a good choice for homes with higher usage all year.

Did you know that electricity rates are in large part driven by the price of natural gas? Because natural gas prices have dropped since peaking last year, electricity rates in Texas have decreased significantly.

TriEagle electricity plans are tailored to provide more predictable bills. For added predictability, the company focuses on fixed rates so your rate remains the same for the term of the contract, and won’t spike during hot weather or extreme conditions.

TriEagle pricing is competitive in all areas of Texas, so see our Dallas and Houston rates, as well as rates for other cities, from Brownsville to Corpus Christi to El Paso to Fort Worth. You can find these in our list of cities at the bottom of this page to locate rates near you.

Renewable Energy Plans

Renewable energy comes in several forms, each one giving homeowners the option to use environmentally sustainable sources for their electricity that cut CO2 and helps to combat climate change.

You can find renewable energy rates that are often lower than fossil-sourced rates at Home Energy Club or GetGreenEnergy.

Reviews & Ratings

Many customers have shared their experience with the company by posting TriEagle on the Consumer Affairs website.

There are an exceptional number of positive insights that have been verified for authenticity, which doesn’t surprise us given our knowledge of this provider.

Generally speaking, customers who post thoughts on energy companies are doing so because they’ve had a negative experience, not a positive one.

But we believe TriEagle has a relatively low number of unhappy customers due to their “no gimmicks” business model and quality operations.

We’ve gathered input from independent websites, the State of Texas Public Utility Commission Complaints Statistics and other sources.

We use this information and combine it with our Home Energy Club expertise to determine a Home Energy Club (HEC) rating.

Power lines and electrical infrastructure used to transfer the power you buy from TriEagle are regulated by Transmission and Delivery Service Providers (TDSPs), also referred to as Transmission and Distribution Utilities (TDUs).
